In what can only be described as a real 'try-scorer's paradise', Dylan Edwards is on the brink of creating history in the Rugby League world.
After already claiming the NRL title and his first State of Origin series victory, the Kangaroos fullback is now just 80 minutes away from solidifying his status as a legend in the game.
According to a report by the folks at news.com.au, Edwards believes that a triumph in Sunday's Pacific Cup final would be the icing on the cake for what has been an absolute 'screamer' of a season.
Battling through injuries and adversity, the seasoned player has managed to secure a debut State of Origin series win, a premiership with the Penrith Panthers, and the coveted Kangaroos No.1 jersey.
Once considered the 'dark horse' of Rugby League, Edwards has finally stepped into the limelight in 2024, receiving well-deserved praise and recognition for his outstanding performances on the field.
His standout display in the State of Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium, where he was named man of the match, only solidified his reputation as a true 'game-changer'.

Despite his incredible achievements, the humble player remains focused and determined, stating, "I haven't really had time to reflect on it.
Personally, it's been a great year.
To have team success has been awesome, and that's why you play the game."

As they say in the world of sports, it's all about stepping up when the pressure is on, and Edwards is certainly no stranger to rising to the occasion.
