Drinkwater and Manzelmann named Players' Player

In a recent report on cowboys.com.au, it has been announced that Scott Drinkwater and Shaniah Manzelmann have been named Players' Player.

Drinkwater had an outstanding 2023 campaign, ranking in the top five of the NRL for both try and line break assists.

The 26-year-old showcased his skills and emerged as a true star of the game during a remarkable seven-game stretch between Rounds 11 and 18.

During this period, he achieved an astonishing 16 try assists and five tries of his own.

As a result of his exceptional performance, Drinkwater earned a well-deserved spot in the NSW extended squad for the final State of Origin game.

On the other hand, Manzelmann proved to be an integral part of the Cowboys team, featuring in all nine NRLW games.

The dynamic player, who also represented Queensland in the State of Origin, displayed her electric skills from the dummy half position in her debut season for her home region.

Both Drinkwater and Manzelmann have undoubtedly made significant contributions to the Cowboys and have rightfully been recognized as the Players' Players.
