Impressive rookie duo Sunia Turuva and Jahream Bula have been named in the talented Fiji squad for the upcoming Pacific Championships.
Both players were finalists for the 2023 Dally M Rookie of the Year award, with Turuva ultimately taking home the prize.
The squad, selected by coach Wise Kativerata, also includes NRL players Maika Sivo and Waqa Blake from the Parramatta Eels.
Experienced outside backs Mikaele Ravalawa and Taane Milne are also part of the team.
The squad will be led by Tui Kamikamica, who takes over as captain from Kevin Naiqama.
Fiji's men's team will kick off their campaign on October 22 against Cook Islands, followed by a match against hosts Papua New Guinea on October 29.
The women's team will have a single fixture against Samoa on October 15, featuring players such as Cassie Staples, Sereana Naitokatoka, and Talei Holmes.
