The New Zealand Warriors have made some team changes ahead of their upcoming NRL clash against Parramatta at Go Media Stadium.

Back rower Demitric Sifakula and fullback Taine Tuaupiki have secured their spots in the game day squad, while halfback Te Maire Martin, winger Edward Kosi, and prop Bunty Afoa have been left out.

Veteran halfback Shaun Johnson is making his return from injury, ready to lead the team alongside fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad.

Johnson has overcome a nagging Achilles injury that kept him out of action for the past five weeks.

In a sporting twist, Johnson will partner up with goal kicker Chanel Harris-Tavita in the halves, marking their first start together since last season.

With Nicoll-Klokstad back in the mix, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck moves to the left wing and Moala Graham-Taufa fills in at the centres for his third NRL appearance with the club.

The Warriors are gearing up for a sold-out showdown, with fans eager to see their team in action on Friday night.

The stage is set for an epic battle on the rugby league field, as the Warriors look to make their mark against the competition.
