In the midst of the action-packed 2024 NRL season, the NZ Warriors are gearing up for some major milestones, with both Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak on the brink of their 200th NRL appearances.

The news comes straight from warriors.kiwi, who have titled their article "Milestones: RTS, DWZ eye 200."

Tuivasa-Sheck, who is heading into his 11th campaign, needs just five more games to reach the coveted milestone.

Returning from his two-year rugby union sabbatical, he has spent seven seasons with the NZ Warriors, adding to his tally of 84 matches for the Sydney Roosters from 2012-2015 and 111 for the Warriors.

Watene-Zelezniak, on the other hand, is 10 games away from his 200th appearance, and three away from his 50th with the Warriors.

Having played for Penrith from 2014-2019, Canterbury Bankstown from 2019-2021, and now the Warriors since 2021, he has already racked up 106 games for Penrith, 37 for Canterbury Bankstown, and 47 for the Warriors.

Apart from these significant milestones, Watene-Zelezniak is also closing in on another achievement - reaching 100 career tries.

With his current tally standing at 86, his impressive performance last season saw him score a club record of 24 tries in just 20 games.

Joining the milestone chase, Mitchell Barnett and new signing Kurt Capewell are eyeing their 150th career games.

Meanwhile, Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is just four games away from his 100th overall appearance.

Additionally, Wayde Egan and Adam Pompey find themselves 20 games away from hitting the 100-match mark for the NZ Warriors.

As the 2024 NRL season unfolds, all eyes will be on these players as they aim to etch their names in rugby league history.

With a blend of experience, determination, and skill, these warriors will no doubt leave a lasting impact on the game.
