No Change at the Top as Drinkwater Surges Back Into Top 10: Zero Tackle's NRL MVP, Round 24

Sydney Roosters fullback James Tedesco and Wests Tigers prop Terrell May remain the only contenders for the Zero Tackle's NRL MVP for 2025, with three rounds remaining in the competition.

This weekend, both Tedesco and May achieved impressive 15-vote totals, contributing to their teams' victories-Tedesco's Roosters triumphed over the Canterbury Bulldogs, while May's Tigers secured a strong win against the struggling Manly Sea Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

The latest votes have created an unbridgeable gap for other players in the standings, with Tedesco leading by a significant margin of 25 votes. To secure the MVP title for 2025, he requires just 16 additional votes over the last three rounds of the season.

Currently in third place is Herbie Farnworth, but his injury means he will not add any more points. Addin Fonua-Blake sits in fourth, although he trails Tedesco by a substantial 85 votes.

This week saw notable performances from Payne Haas, Scott Drinkwater, and Dylan Edwards, all of whom advanced into the top ten following strong vote totals. Drinkwater notably shone as the unanimous man of the match as the Cowboys outperformed the Newcastle Knights in one of the season's less exciting matches.
