The Dragons Lower Grades Wrap for Round 19 is in, and it's a mixed bag of results from the Jersey Flegg Cup and Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership competitions.
While the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup team had a bye this weekend, the Jersey Flegg squad took on some international competition, and the Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership teams kicked off their season.
In a stunning performance, one of the players scored four tries against the Silktails for the second time this season, showing real skill and determination.
Fullback Katrina Phippen also made her mark by scoring early in the second half, giving the Dragons a solid lead that they held onto despite a late surge from the Eels.
Cheyenne Baker managed to get the visitors on the scoreboard after the break, but it was a mere blip as the Steelers pushed towards a dominant victory.
Walsh added a second try to his name, with Sienna Yeo joining the scoring party in the 53rd minute.
Overall, it was a weekend of highs and lows for the Dragons Lower Grades, but they showed great potential and resilience on the field.
Now, they'll be looking to build on this performance and continue their winning ways in the coming rounds.
