The Dragons have announced the selection of 11 rising stars for the Under 19s State of Origin, which will take place at Sunshine Coast Stadium on Thursday, June 19.
Both the men's and women's matches aim to see the Blues replicate last year's success.
Hayden Buchanan and Jacob Halangahu have earned their spots for the second consecutive year after helping lead the Blues to victory in 2024.
Both players had a break from the SG Ball season this year, but have emerged as regulars in the club's Knock-On Effect NSW Cup squad.
Cyrus Stanley-Traill, a Hurstville United junior, is making his debut in the Under 19s Origin after earning his chance to train with the club's NRL squad this preseason.
He was recognized as St George's SG Ball Player of the Year earlier this year and made his NSW Cup debut in Round 10.
Additionally, eight members of Illawarra's Tarsha Gale Cup squad have been selected for the Blues, including Indie Bostock, Liesl Hopoate, Tahlia O'Brien, Maria Paseka, Siu Richter, Tori Shipton, Bronte Wilson, and Kasey Reh, last year's skipper and Player of the Match.
The Dragons celebrate these selections as a testament to the potential and hard work of their young players.
