Dragons v Sharks: Same 17 for Flanno; Rudolf back on deck
The local derby, regardless of standings or recent performances, is known for its intense clashes. Recently, however, the Sharks have dominated the rivalry.
Since 2020, the Sharks have achieved an impressive streak of 10 consecutive victories over the Dragons, which includes two heavy defeats in 2023 and a significant 38-10 win last season.
This season, Craig Fitzgibbon's team has reached as high as fifth place on the ladder and, with a bye still available, they appear set for their tenth finals appearance in eleven years.
While their remaining schedule features three teams ranked below them, they must remain cautious of the Dragons, currently in 11th place, who recently caused an upset against the league leaders, Canberra.
Although finals qualification may remain elusive for the Dragons for a seventh year in a row, they are certainly capable of taking down a few more leading teams as the season progresses.
