The mighty St George Illawarra Dragons have officially announced their development squad for the upcoming 2025 NRL season as they gear up to make a splash in the Finals series.
According to reports from zerotackle.com, the five promising players on the Dragons' development list for next year are Ben Murdoch-Masila, Corey Ackers, Jonah Glover, Lyhkan King-Togia, and Nicholas Tsougranis.
After a solid 14 appearances in first grade last season, Murdoch-Masila has earned himself a contract extension, although he has been relegated from the Top 30 roster.
With 16 caps for Tonga, this seasoned second-rower has racked up almost 250 rugby league games since his debut back in 2010, having previously played for the Wests Tigers, Penrith Panthers, and New Zealand Warriors.
Young gun Lyhkan King-Togia also got a taste of first grade action this year and is poised to challenge Lachlan Ilias and Kyle Flanagan for a spot in the halves, especially after the departure of club captain Ben Hunt to the Brisbane Broncos.
With these exciting prospects in the mix, the Dragons are looking to build a strong foundation for a successful season ahead, aiming to rise to the challenge and make their mark in the rugby league arena.
Bring on 2025!
