The Catalans Dragons ended their seven-match losing streak with a decisive victory over the Huddersfield Giants, reporting temperatures exceeding 38C (100F) in Perpignan.

This marked the first success for interim head coach Joel Tomkins, while his brother Sam contributed significantly to the win.

First-half tries were scored by Leo Darrelatour, Luke Keary, and Tomkins, followed by two additional tries from Clement Martin and Alrix da Costa after the interval.

This match resulted in Catalans' largest victory of the season, allowing them to maintain their position in ninth in the Super League.

In contrast, Huddersfield continues to struggle, sitting second bottom in 11th place following their 14th defeat in 16 games this season.
