Dragons beaten by Broncos in season finale

The Dragons, unfortunately, couldn't finish their NRLW season on a high note as they were outplayed by the Broncos in a scorching showdown in Townsville.

Despite the fierce competition and intense heat, the Dragons managed to take an early lead with some quick-fire tries, showing they were ready to battle it out on the field.

Veteran player Steph Hancock was honored with a special jersey for her 40th NRLW appearance, adding a touch of nostalgia to the game as she faced off against her former team.

However, the Dragons' lack of discipline in the first half cost them dearly, as the Broncos capitalized on a series of penalties to take the lead going into halftime.

A strategic move by Reh to shift into the halves paid off for the Red V, as her pinpoint kicks set up scoring opportunities for her teammates.

The deadly partnership between Reh and Koster, reminiscent of their successful Tarsha Gale Cup campaign earlier in the year, proved to be a potent force on the field.

Despite the disappointing loss, the Dragons can hold their heads high knowing they gave it their all in a tough match against a formidable opponent.

With their eyes set on future triumphs, the Dragons will regroup and come back stronger in the next season, ready to tackle whatever challenges come their way.
