One notable moment in the match came when Dragons centre Campbell Lyons was sent to the bin for holding down the tackled player for too long after making a crucial try-saving tackle.
This moment opened up an opportunity for Alton Naiyep from the Sea Eagles to score their first points, narrowing the halftime score to 12-4.
