In the latest Knock-On Effect NSW Cup match, the Dragons faced the Bears and secured a 28-18 victory, extending their winning streak to four games.
Play unfolded at North Sydney Oval, where Dragons winger Ben Rumble shone brightly, scoring his third hat-trick of the season and bringing his total to 10 tries in just seven matches.
Despite the Dragons' eventual success, the Bears initially dominated, taking a 12-4 lead late in the first half, aiming to replicate their previous upset against the Dragons this season.
However, the tide turned as Rumble and his teammates took control.
Rumble scored early in the second half after a failed Jonah Glover bomb, which Nick Tsougranis managed to keep alive.
This was followed by a brilliant cut-out pass from Cody Ramsey that set up Rumble for his second try, allowing the Dragons to gain a 16-12 lead after Glover's conversion attempt hit the upright but went through.
In summary, the Dragons showcased their resilience and skill, particularly through Rumble, to secure their fourth consecutive win in the NSW Cup.
