Dragons Roar Back with Half-Signed Redemption Story

LeagueNews.co | Cooper McEnroe

Amidst a horror week of missed signings, the St George Illawarra Dragons have managed to secure the services of rising star Ronald Volkman as their new half.

Volkman, who made his first-grade debut with the New Zealand Warriors last year, brings much-needed talent to the team.

While the Dragons' missed opportunities may have disappointed fans, Volkman's arrival fills a crucial gap in the team's lineup, particularly after the unfortunate deregistration of Talatau Amone.

The Dragons were determined to make a splash in the market, but they narrowly missed out on signing Addin Fonua-Blake and Tom Dearden.

Despite these setbacks, the club is still pursuing Heilum Luki and Kulikefu Finefeuiaki from the North Queensland Cowboys.

As head coach Shane Flanagan prepares for his first season, the Dragons are eager to bolster their squad and make a strong impact on the field.
