In a thrilling match on Sunday, the Dragons completed a remarkable comeback to defeat the Raiders 36-28 at Seiffert Oval.
This victory marks their fifth consecutive win, solidifying their position in the Top 4 as they reach the season's midpoint.
After trailing by 14 points at half-time, the Dragons quickly initiated their comeback.
Connor Muhleisen played a pivotal role, setting up Hame Sele for their first try near the ruck.
Following this, Sele's skillful play led to a second attacking opportunity when he managed to catch a Canberra kick-off just inside the field.
Lachlan Ilias then executed a precise cut-out pass to Sione Finau, who scored in the right corner, narrowing the gap to 12-10.
The Dragons maintained their momentum, with Ilias again delivering a near-identical pass to Ben Rumble on the next set.
Unfortunately, Rumble was tackled touch-in-goal, but the team continued to press for their third try.
The result showcased the Dragons' resilience and determination as they strive for continued success in the NSW Cup.
