Dragons duo Jacob Halangahu and Hayden Buchanan are returning to the Under 19s State of Origin arena, excited about their new roles as senior players following their previous experience in a 14-10 victory over the Maroons at Leichhardt last year.
This time, they are learning leadership in a high-intensity environment, having spent the season with the successful Knock-On Effect NSW Cup team.
Both players believe this experience has well-prepared them for their upcoming match against Queensland on the Sunshine Coast.
Halangahu, who trained with the club's NRL squad during the offseason, made his NSW Cup debut in Round 1 and has since played nine games, averaging 108 run metres and recording 226 tackles at a remarkable 95 percent efficiency.
