Dragons Lower Grades Wrap: Round 18

LeagueNews.co | Jess Malloy

The Dragons Lower Grades Wrap for Round 18 is in and it was a real nail-biter, mate! The weekend saw both the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup teams in action, giving it their all on the field.

The Dragons got off to a roaring start with winger Tyreece Tait showing some serious wheels to score first, leaving the opposition struggling to catch up.

But the opposition fought back, with Dylan Egan crashing over the line to level the playing field.

It was a back-and-forth battle, with five-eighth Lyhkan King-Togia stepping up for the visitors and taking advantage of a fumbled bomb to snatch the lead.

The Roosters weren't going down without a fight, though, as fullback Jade Anderson made a break for it after halftime, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats.

The Dragons weren't about to let the lead slip away, with Haele Finau setting up Connor Muhleisen for a powerful try, putting the team in a strong position heading into the final minutes.

It was a real heart-stopper of a game, with both teams leaving it all out on the field.

Overall, it was a true display of Rugby League at its finest, with players giving it their all and leaving it all on the field.

Fans can't wait to see what's in store for the Dragons in the coming rounds, as they continue to show their fighting spirit and determination.
