George Illawarra Dragons officially launched their 2025 NRLW season on Friday at the University of Wollongong's Innovation Campus.

The event featured the full playing squad and staff, with Chairman Andrew Lancaster delivering the opening address.

Discussions included a Club Leadership Panel led by CEO Tim Watsford, which included NRLW Head Coach Nathan Cross and Female Football Manager Sammy Bremner.

An NRLW Panel followed, showcasing co-captains Raecene McGregor and Zali Hopkins alongside teenage players Kasey Reh and Indie Bostock.

The final discussion was an NRL Panel featuring Head Coach Shane Flanagan, captain Clint Gutherson, and standout rookie Hamish Stewart.

Club staff, sponsors, and a range of NRL squad members were present to support their NRLW counterparts.

The Dragons NRLW team is set to begin their season on Saturday, July 5th, in a double-header match against the Raiders in the nation's capital.
