Dragons stalwart Ben Hunt has made a candid revelation as he grapples with a potential contract extension to prolong his time with the Red V.
The seasoned player confessed to being "on the fence" about committing to a fresh deal that could see him stay with the club until the end of the 2026 season.
Coach Shane Flanagan has already initiated discussions with Hunt regarding a one-year extension, as the player's current contract is set to expire at the conclusion of the club's 2025 campaign.
In an interview with Jake Duke on Fox League's Face to Face, Hunt acknowledged his uncertainties about the future, hinting at the possibility of retirement looming on the horizon.
"To be honest, I'm still weighing my options and it's not just about whether I want to depart from the club or not," Hunt shared.
"It's more about my longevity in the sport.
At 34 years old, I've logged a significant amount of playing time."
The decision ahead for Ben Hunt is undoubtedly a crucial one, as he contemplates his next move in the rugged arena of Rugby League.
Only time will tell where this seasoned warrior's path will lead.
