The Dragons have announced Raecene McGregor and Zali Hopkins as co-captains for the upcoming NRLW season.

McGregor, a skilled player and 2022 Dally M Medallist, rejoined the Dragons this season after making her NRLW debut with the club in 2018.

At 27 years old, she boasts an impressive career, having won three NRLW premierships and a Pacific Championships title with the Kiwi Ferns.

She is also one of just seven players to achieve over 40 NRLW appearances.

Zali Hopkins, 23, returns for her fourth season with the Dragons, having debuted as a five-eighth in 2022.

She played a critical role in the team's journey to the postseason, participating in all nine matches last season, where she scored one try and assisted in four others.

Both players bring considerable experience and skill as they lead the team into the new season.
