The St George Illawarra Dragons NRLW head coach, Jamie Soward, has announced his final squad for their Round 8 match against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.
According to dragons.com.au, Alexis Tauaneai will be unable to play for the next four months due to a complete rupture of her MCL, which occurred during a hip-drop tackle in Round 7.
Sophie Clancy will take her place as lock in the team.
In other changes to the squad, Cortez Te Pou will replace Taylor-Adeline Mapusua on the wing, while Sarah Riordan has been named as the centre.
Ella Koster will join the back row, Roxy Murdoch will play as prop, and Angelina Takaraanga-Katoa will be on the interchange.
Maddison Weatherall will take the place of Macie Carlile in the 17, and Kaarla Cowan has been dropped from the squad just before the game.
Unfortunately, the Dragons will also be without centre Cheynoah Amone, who displayed category one concussion symptoms during the first half of last week's win against the Cowboys and was unable to finish the game.
On a positive note, Madison Mulhall, who made her NRLW debut last week, will once again start in the second row after scoring a try in her first game.
