Francis Molo has resolved his contract dispute with the St George Illawarra Dragons by agreeing to pay a "sizeable" termination fee in order to leave the NRL club.
The Dragons will announce his release from the final year and a half of his contract, giving them flexibility in their salary cap.
Molo had been on leave from training since earlier this year due to a disagreement with a coach.
Despite interest from other clubs, Molo chose to part ways with the Dragons by paying back part of his salary.
This allowed the Dragons to move forward and potentially sign a replacement for Molo.
The termination of Molo's contract ends a two-month-long dispute that had been a headache for the club.
Molo, a former Queensland State of Origin prop, is now free to explore opportunities with other clubs after his departure from the Dragons.
