Albion Park's Centenary Field is set to become the battleground for the Dragons and Steelers' first round of junior representative trials, beginning this Saturday.
The anticipation is high as these young players showcase their skills and compete for a spot on the team for the 2024 season.
The weather forecast for the day has thrown a curveball, resulting in some changes to the schedule.
However, rain or shine, both teams are prepared to give it their all.
The jam-packed slate of games is scheduled to kick off bright and early at 9:00am, with the Dragons and Steelers' Lisa Fiaola Cup teams taking center stage.
The action will then shift to the Dragons and Steelers Tarsha Gale Cup squads, who are ready to battle it out on the field.
Later in the afternoon, the Illawarra South Coast Dragons' Laurie Daley Cup squad will face off against the Sharks, in what promises to be an intense showdown.
Following that, the Andrew Johns Cup and Harold Matthews Cup teams will take the field, as the Dragons and Steelers go head-to-head in their respective age categories.
It's worth noting that the Illawarra South Coast Dragons have become a force to be reckoned with, consistently challenging teams from regional NSW in both the Andrew Johns Cup and Laurie Daley Cup.
With so much talent on display, these young players have a chance to etch their names into rugby league history.
