Dragons and Dolphins: A Match with Painful Waves

LeagueNews.co | Jess Malloy

The Dolphins secured a decisive victory over the St George Illawarra Dragons, winning 56-6 on Friday night.

However, the win was not without its drawbacks, as the Dolphins may have lost key player Max Plath to injury.

According to reports from zerotackle.com, Plath aggravated an existing MCL injury during the match and is at risk of missing next week's game against the North Queensland Cowboys.

Although initial signs are positive, if a further sprain is confirmed, Plath could be sidelined for several weeks.

Dolphins coach Kristian Woolf also indicated that front-rower Daniel Saifiti will not be available for selection next week as he is still working towards his return since Round 8.

On the other side, the Dragons' situation worsened when winger Christian Tuipulotu suffered a hamstring injury in the first half, mirroring the same injury that had previously kept him out for seven weeks.
