Dragon duo left wounded: destiny or downfall after clash?

Dragons Injury Update: Lawrie & Liddle

LeagueNews.co | Nick Loken

The Dragons have been hit by the injury bug as Blake Lawrie and Jacob Liddle both limped off the field during their Pre-Season Challenge clash against the Wests Tigers.

It's a tough blow for the team, but they remain optimistic about the recovery of their key players.

Lawrie, who suffered a rib cartilage injury in Mudgee, is determined to make a quick return to action and be available for the Dragons' Round 1 battle against the Titans on the Gold Coast.

Meanwhile, Liddle's scans revealed a low-grade hamstring injury, but he too has his sights set on taking the field in Round 1.

The team will be hoping these players can recover swiftly and contribute to their campaign.
