In a dramatic turn of events on the NRL stage, Sydney Roosters' star centre Michael Jennings and St George Illawarra Dragons' talented forward Toby Couchman have been sidelined for two matches each following their latest on-field performances.

These two players weren't the only ones feeling the heat, as a total of 11 fines were handed out to other players for various incidents during Round 21.

However, all charges were swiftly resolved with early guilty pleas from the weekend warriors.

In what can only be described as a tough weekend on the field, fans were left buzzing with excitement and anticipation for what's to come in the next matches.

It's a reminder that in the game of footy, anything can happen and players must always be prepared to face the consequences of their actions.

Let's hope these players learn from their mistakes and come back stronger than ever before.
