Adam Doueihi, a sought-after utility player, is facing uncertainty regarding his future as he has been offered a two-year contract by a rival club, reportedly the St George Illawarra Dragons, aiming to entice him away from the Wests Tigers.
According to zerotackle.com, Doueihi is one of the few Tigers players yet to secure a deal for 2026, and his situation has become increasingly unclear following a notable altercation with coach Benji Marshall during a training scrimmage.
As his contract expires at the end of the 2025 season, sources from The Daily Telegraph indicate that the Dragons' offer spans the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
Throughout this season, the Lebanese international has faced challenges in securing a consistent position on the West Tigers' roster, often being moved between roles without the opportunity to focus on his primary position in the halves.
This development comes after Marshall confirmed last week that the Tigers have extended an offer to Doueihi to keep him at the club for the 2026 season.
