Doubtful Lauren: Titans playmaker injured for Championships

Injury update: Lauren Brown

LeagueNews.co | Cooper McEnroe

The Titans have delivered an update on playmaker Lauren Brown's injury status, and it's not looking good for the upcoming Pacific Championships.

Brown suffered a hamstring injury during the Prime Minister's XIII clash against Papua New Guinea, forcing her to leave the field after only three minutes of play.

This setback has put her participation in doubt for the Jillaroos' opening match against the Orchids and their upcoming showdown with the Kiwi Ferns in New Zealand.

Brown, who is 29 years old, will undergo scans to determine the extent of the injury, but it seems likely that she will be sidelined for these crucial matches.

Unfortunately, this injury comes at a difficult time for Brown, as she had just recovered from a fractured hand that kept her out of action for the final two rounds of the NRLW competition.

It's a tough break for the talented player, but hopefully, she can make a speedy recovery and get back on the field soon.
