The Lisa Fiaola and Tarsha Gale Sharks had a successful day at Cronulla High School, with both teams securing victories and staying on track for the playoffs.

The under-17 Lisa Fiaola team defeated the Central Coast Roosters 14-12, while the under-19 Tarsha Gale team came from behind to win 26-18 against the Roosters Indigenous Academy.

The Lisa Fiaola Cup game started off with errors from both teams, but Sharks centre Mikayla Vakauta scored a try in the 14th minute to put Cronulla ahead.

Despite falling behind after a try from the Roosters, the Sharks rallied and secured the win with a late try from prop Manawanui James.

The close two-point margin highlighted the competitive nature of the match.

Similarly, the Tarsha Gale team had to overcome challenges to secure their victory against the Roosters Indigenous Academy.

Both teams demonstrated determination and skill to come out on top, with the wins keeping them in contention for the playoffs with two matches remaining in the regular season.
