The Couchman twins, Ryan and Toby, have inked new deals with the St George Illawarra Dragons, ensuring they remain with the club for the long haul.

Known as two of the club's rising stars in the forward pack, they will continue to wear the red and white jersey under the guidance of coach Shane Flanagan until the end of the 2027 NRL season.

Hailing from the Thirroul Butchers juniors, the twins have made their mark in the pathways system, showcasing their talents on the field and earning prestigious honours with the Australian Schoolboys and U19s NSW Blues teams.

Toby made his debut in the 2023 season opener against the Gold Coast Titans and has since played 26 matches for the Dragons, crossing the try line four times.

Having represented the U19s NSW Blues in the State of Origin match last year, Toby's impressive performances saw him take home the Geoff Selby Memorial Trophy for NRL Emerging Talent.

The twins' commitment to the Dragons is a testament to their dedication and passion for the game, as they look to leave their mark in the annals of Rugby League history.
