New Zealand Warriors winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is on the brink of achieving twin try-scoring feats, taking him closer to legendary status in the NRL annals.

The 28-year-old's recent try against Parramatta brought his tally to 11 in 18 matches this season, putting him within striking distance of joining the exclusive 100-try club and reaching 50 tries for the Warriors.

If he can muster just two more tries, Watene-Zelezniak will etch his name alongside some of the great Kiwi try-scorers, including Manu Vatuvei, Nigel Vagana, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Jordan Rapana, and Jason Nightingale.

In addition, he will become the 10th player to notch up 50 tries for the Warriors, joining a prestigious list that includes names like Vatuvei, Shaun Johnson, and Stacey Jones.

With 97 career tries in 208 matches, Watene-Zelezniak has proven himself to be a prolific scorer on the field, showcasing his speed and skill for both Penrith and Canterbury Bankstown.

As he continues his quest for try-scoring glory, fans can expect to witness more thrilling moments from this talented winger.
