The Dolphins' key off-contract players can negotiate with rival clubs from November 1 this year, despite their deals running until the end of 2027.
That group includes Herbie Farnworth, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Jack Bostock, with Farnworth's future attracting particular attention.
Farnworth has reached another level during 2027 and is now regarded among the competition's leading players.
Tabuai-Fidow expects his fellow centre to remain at Redcliffe, telling News Corp, "He is going to stay,"
"Herbie has gone to heights that no-one else in the comp has got to. He's obviously one of the best centres in the game, if not the best centre.
"I'm hoping they'll get him over the line and I think he wants to stay, too.
The Dolphins are approaching a potential Grand Final appearance in only their fourth season, while Tabuai-Fidow also wants his own position resolved after the campaign.
"What we're building here is something special," he said.
The Queensland Maroons representative said the team's close bond, its location and the lifestyle had strengthened his desire to remain in the state.
He also described his developing combination with Farnworth as "exciting times for ahead."
