Dolphins set to reel in foreign forward talent

The Dolphins are on the verge of securing the signing of an overseas forward from the Super League, after expressing their interest in acquiring his talents a fortnight ago.

A seasoned English international, Morgan Knowles has established himself as a standout forward in the Super League for quite some time and could be making his way Down Under sooner than anticipated.

Following The Dolphins' confirmation of their pursuit of Knowles last week, the Super League star has signaled his intention to make the leap to the NRL in 2026.

The two parties have been engaged in negotiations for a number of weeks and are now in the final stages of ironing out the remaining finer details, according to reports from News Corp.

Although Knowles will fulfill his current contract in the Super League and won't officially join the club for another year, he is set to reunite with former coach Kristian Woolf upon his arrival.

The addition of Knowles will add further depth to the club's forward pack, which includes players like Kenneath Bromwich, Felise Kaufusi, Josh Kerr, Mark Nicholls, Michael Waqa, and Mason Teague who are all slated to become free agents at the conclusion of the season.
