Dolphins' season sinking, hope floats for the next

LeagueNews.co | Cooper McEnroe

The Dolphins have confirmed that Max Plath and Daniel Saifiti will be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to severe injuries.

Reports from zerotackle.com state that Tom Gilbert, who was expected to return by Round 24, has also been ruled out for the season.

Plath is believed to have suffered an ACL injury over the weekend, while Saifiti underwent surgery for an MCL injury and is unable to play again this season.

Plath has already scheduled a consultation with a surgeon, and while the Dolphins indicated he has sustained a "serious knee injury," they have not officially confirmed it as an ACL injury or specified a recovery timeline.

This injury occurred during the team's recent significant victory against the St George Illawarra Dragons.
