In a thrilling Rugby League match, the Wests Tigers managed to break their 10-game losing streak by defeating the Dolphins 24-23.

The game was a back-and-forth battle, with the scoreline remaining tight until the very end.

With just four minutes remaining, Jamayne Isaako's field goal seemed to secure the victory for the Dolphins.

However, Api Koroisau had other plans.

Koroisau executed a short kick-off, allowing his team to regain possession.

The turning point came when Isaako and Tesi Niu were penalized for taking Junior Tupou out of bounds.

Seizing the opportunity, Koroisau stepped up to take a penalty goal from an unlikely position - 40 meters out on the left sideline.

With precision and skill, Koroisau's kick curved inwards, striking the crossbar before bouncing over for a successful goal.

This incredible feat perfectly encapsulated the captain's outstanding performance, especially considering he had been forced to switch positions to the halves due to Luke Brooks' calf injury.

Koroisau's move to the halves paid off early on, as he delivered a perfectly placed kick for Jack Bostock to fumble, leading to a try by Stefano Utoikamanu and Fonua Pole.

However, the Dolphins quickly retaliated, with Isaako capitalizing on a well-timed pass from Kodi Nikorima to score his 21st try of the season on the right edge.

In the 23rd minute, Jahream Bula showcased his immense talent, slipping through a gap and delivering an inside ball to Asu Kepaoa, who crossed the line for a try.

This display further solidified Bula's claim for the Rookie of the Year award.

Overall, the match was a thrilling contest between two formidable teams.

The Wests Tigers' victory, courtesy of Koroisau's incredible penalty goal, brought their losing streak to an end and provided a much-needed boost for the team.
