North Queensland are monitoring Tom Flegler as they look to add strength to their forward pack, CODE Sports reports.
The Dolphins prop is off contract in 2028 and was eligible to negotiate with rival clubs from November 1.
Flegler has started every Queensland State of Origin match in 2026 and has been among the game's most dominant front-rowers.
His availability comes as the Dolphins work to fit their stars under the 2028 salary cap.
Jason Taumalolo is approaching the final years of his career, while Cowboys forwards Coen Hess and Jeremiah Nanai are contracted only through the end of 2027.
Flegler's early Dolphins seasons were disrupted by nerve problems linked to a shoulder injury.
He missed most of 2024 and all of 2025 before returning in the 2026 trials.
He played 21 games this season with tackle efficiency just below 96%, as the Dolphins reached the preliminary finals.
The club retained Selwyn Cobbo, Kulikefu Finefeuiaki and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow before the negotiation window, but Herbie Farnworth and Jack Bostock remain uncertain.
