The Dolphins have officially secured a significant player in rugby league by extending the contract of star centre Herbie Farnworth through to the end of the 2027 NRL season.
Farnworth has agreed to an additional year on his current deal after finalizing the contract extension last night, just before departing for his homeland, England.
This decision comes as Farnworth prepares for an upcoming three-Test series against the Kangaroos in the UK.
Reflecting on his future, the 25-year-old expressed that committing to the Dolphins was an easy decision.
Previously contracted until 2026, Farnworth's new extension guarantees that he will not enter the open market on November 1.
