Dolphins dive into U20 talent pool this weekend

Dolphins set for NRLQ U20 Development Series

The Dolphins' development system is set to shine in the newly established NRLQ under-20 Development Series, starting this weekend.

This six-week, home-and-away round-robin competition will feature under-20 teams from all four Queensland-based NRL clubs, organized in three two-week blocks.

The initiative addresses the gap in elite development pathways following the conclusion of the QRL's 2025 junior representative competitions, such as the Mal Meninga Cup Under 19s.

The Dolphins will kick off their first match against the Gold Coast Titans at Cbus Super Stadium at 12:35 pm.

Key matches in the series will align with NRL game days, including the Dolphins' final U20 game at Suncorp Stadium on August 9, which will precede the Dolphins versus Roosters NRL matchup.

Additionally, Kayo Stadium will host two more home games for the Dolphins on July 5 and 27.
