The Dolphins of dolphinsnrl.com.au are gearing up to take on the table-topping Storm in what promises to be a showdown for the ages at Suncorp Stadium.

Fresh off a jaw-dropping upset victory over the Sharks, the Dolphins are looking to cement their place in the top four with a statement win against the Melbourne powerhouse.

Under the guidance of Wayne Bennett, the Dolphins have emerged as the dark horse of the NRL, exceeding all expectations and inching closer to matching their inaugural season win total with each impressive performance.

Despite the absence of key players Felise Kaufusi and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow on State of Origin duty, the return of Tesi Niu and Jesse Bromwich could provide a much-needed boost for the squad.

Meanwhile, the Storm will be missing Queensland representatives Harry Grant and Xavier Coates, but the addition of Origin debutant Trent Loiero could add a spark to their lineup.

Star fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen is on the mend from an ankle injury, but with Sua Faalogo holding down the fort admirably in his absence, there is no need to rush Papenhuyzen back before he is fully fit.

The last time these two teams clashed in 2023, it was the Storm who emerged victorious with Eli Katoa and Jahrome Hughes leading the charge to a 24-16 win at Suncorp Stadium.

The stage is set for another epic battle between these Rugby League titans, and fans can expect nothing less than a thrilling display of athleticism and skill on the field.
