The Dolphins have locked in their seasoned veteran, five-eighth and utility player Kodi Nikorima, securing his talents for another two years in a new deal announced by the club.

This move will keep Nikorima in the Dolphins squad until at least 2026, extending his stay beyond his original contract set to end this season.

Nikorima, a foundational player at the Dolphins since their inaugural season in the NRL, has proven his worth with an increasing presence on the field.

Hailing from New Zealand, he has already made 39 appearances for the Redcliffe-based club, showcasing his skills and experience in the game.

Having previously played for the Broncos, Warriors, and Rabbitohs, Nikorima is set to hit a milestone this weekend with his 200th NRL game.

The new contract solidifies his partnership in the halves with Isaiya Katoa for the next two seasons, ensuring a strong and steady presence in the team's lineup.
