The Dolphins are facing an increasing injury crisis as Kulikefu Finefeuiaki and Mark Nicholls have both been ruled out for Round 20.
Finefeuiaki sustained a fractured thumb during Friday night's loss to the Sharks in Sydney.
Despite the injury, he continued to play until the match concluded.
He will undergo surgery on his thumb and is anticipated to be sidelined for four to six weeks.
Consequently, he will not participate in the upcoming match against the Cowboys at Suncorp Stadium.
Nicholls, on the other hand, was forced to leave the game after a head clash in the first half and did not return.
He will miss the Cowboys' match due to mandatory concussion protocols but is expected to be available for the following game after the bye in New Zealand on August 1.
