In their first home game of the NRLQ series at Kayo Stadium, the Dolphins triumphed over the Cowboys with a decisive 44-10 victory, highlighted by a dominant 34-point first half.

Right from the kickoff, the Dolphins asserted themselves, with Braelan Marsh facilitating a swift 85-metre team effort that allowed Fullback Seth Carpenter to score in the opening minute, giving the Dolphins an early 6-0 lead.

Though a knock-on by back rower Zach Garton temporarily threatened their dominance, the Dolphins managed to regroup.

Following a head injury assessment for centre Elijah McKay, they adjusted their lineup, moving Carpenter to centre and bringing Adaquix-Jeramiah Watts-Luke on at fullback.

The Dolphins regained momentum, as halfback Noah Fien executed a strategic kick that set Carpenter up for a quick double within just 5 minutes, extending their lead to 12-0.

The Cowboys fought back, with Maddox Goodwin capitalizing on an awkward bounce from a kickoff to score their first points, reducing the Dolphins' lead to 12-4 after a missed conversion.

Despite this brief challenge, the Dolphins maintained control throughout the match and showcased an effective performance, marking their fourth consecutive victory.
