Dolphins Announce Leadership for 2026 Season

The Dolphins have officially set their leadership structure for the upcoming 2026 NRL season.

In this announcement, Tom Gilbert will retain his role as captain, while Isaiya Katoa has been elevated to co-captain.

Head coach Kristian Woolf has shared the ambitions and expectations he has for this dynamic duo as they aim for the club's first finals appearance.

"We want to be playing finals at the end of this year," Woolf stated.

"Your team is a reflection of your leaders."

After enduring a series of injuries, Gilbert is set to rejoin the forward pack, eager to demonstrate his capabilities. With one of the most formidable packs in the league, the Dolphins have set their sights on significant success in the postseason.

Joining Gilbert is Katoa, who has rapidly developed his skills and emerged as a key leader for the team.

"I knew my role as the halfback was to lead these boys around," Katoa reflected.

"The best way to lead is through your actions."

With both players committed to their roles, the Dolphins are poised to make a strong push for the finals in what promises to be an exciting season.
