The Dolphin's forward, Jarrod Wallace, is already impressed by the team's new recruit, Thomas Flegler.
Flegler has returned to pre-season training ahead of schedule, while other players take their time after the Pacific Championships.
According to Wallace, Flegler was the first to put his hand up and has already created a battle with fellow Queenslander, Tom Gilbert.
With the likes of Gilbert and Felise Kaufusi, the Dolphins already have a formidable forward pack, but Flegler's inclusion will bring extra aggression and star power to the middle.
Wallace acknowledges that every NRL team needs a few crazy fellas in the middle, and Kaufusi provided that last year, but now the craziness will be unleashed with Flegler's arrival.
