South Sydney recruit Lewis Dodd is set to make his NRL debut in the high-stakes Good Friday clash against the Bulldogs, with up to 70,000 fans expected to pack into Accor Stadium.

Dodd, who arrived from England in the off-season, will be coming off the interchange bench for the game.

Teammate Jai Arrow believes that the delay in Dodd's debut, caused by various factors, will actually benefit the young playmaker as he prepares to face the intensity of the NRL.
"What an introduction it's going to be for him," said Arrow, acknowledging the significance of Dodd's debut in such a high-profile match.

Despite the pressure, Dodd is determined to make the most of this opportunity and showcase his talent on the big stage.

Cody Walker is slated to start at halfback if he passes a fitness test, providing Dodd with a chance to learn from experienced players like Walker and gain valuable experience in the NRL.
Dodd's path to his NRL debut has not been straightforward, as injuries, suspensions, and the emergence of other players have delayed his entry into the top grade.

However, Arrow believes that these challenges have only made Dodd more resilient and prepared for the demands of playing at the highest level.

With a record-breaking crowd expected for the Good Friday clash, Dodd's debut will be a memorable moment for the young playmaker as he takes the next step in his career.
