In the latest update from cowboys.com.au, it has been revealed that Titans star Evania Pelite has surged ahead in the 2023 NRLW Dally M leaderboard after two rounds of intense competition.
Pelite's outstanding performance in her team's golden point victory over the Broncos earned her three votes, allowing her to establish a two-point lead over Dragons fullback Teagan Berry on the overall leaderboard.
This year, the Dally M voting process has been revamped, with two judges closely observing each game and awarding points on a three-two-one basis.
Consequently, a maximum of six points can be earned in every match of the 2023 Telstra Women's Premiership season.
Round 2 witnessed four players achieving this feat, including the reigning Dally M medal winner Raecene McGregor, who delivered a captivating display against the Eels.
As a result, McGregor, along with Zahara Temara, Kirra Dibb, and Jakiya Whitfeld, all secured spots in the top 10 following their exceptional player of the match performances over the weekend.
