The mighty Glebe Dirty Reds have claimed their long-awaited victory in the Ron Massey Cup, triumphing over the Wentworthville Magpies in a solid 19-6 win at Leichhardt Oval.

The Reds, who were ranked 4th in the minor premiership, battled through four consecutive sudden death finals, taking down teams 5, 2, 1, and 3 along the way to secure their well-deserved title.

This historic win marks Glebe's first championship since their glory days in 1927, when they reigned supreme in the third grade premiership as part of the prestigious Sydney competition.

The Reds have once again etched their name in rugby league history with this impressive feat.
