The Parramatta Eels suffered a heavy 46-16 defeat at the hands of the Melbourne Storm at Marvel Stadium on Friday.

Despite a strong start, with Sean Russell scoring an impressive try to open the scoring, the Eels were unable to maintain their momentum.

Russell showed great skill and determination to find the try line, using his speed and agility to evade the opposition's defense and touch down in the corner.

However, his attempt at a second try was thwarted by the Storm's defense.

The Eels were dominating the game until the Storm launched a remarkable comeback, scoring three consecutive tries.

Harry Grant was the standout player for the Storm, scoring two tries in quick succession, using his clever footwork and deceptive running lines to outwit the Eels' defense.

Jahrome Hughes added to the Storm's tally with a well-executed try, exploiting a gap in the Eels' defensive line.
