In a disappointing weekend for the Dragons, both their Knock On Effect Cup and Jersey Flegg squads suffered defeats at the hands of the Parramatta Eels.
Despite an impressive four-try performance from Savelio Tamale, the Dragons were unable to secure a victory in their clash against the Eels.
The game took place at Kellyville Park, with the hosts ultimately emerging as 44-28 winners.
The Eels got off to a strong start, scoring tries through Jirah Momoisea, Jordan Rankin, Chris Tupou, and Daejarn Asi within the first 30 minutes, giving them a commanding 22-0 lead.
However, the Dragons fought back before halftime, with Tautau Moga and Tamale crossing the try line to revive their chances.
Asi added a second try after the break, followed by Lachlan Blackburn.
Tamale scored his second try in the 54th minute, but the Eels extended their lead with a try from Waqa Blake, making it 38-16.
